CrayonSmile Privacy Policy

CrayonSmile is a Korean sole proprietorship that creates learning games for children and families. This document describes the privacy practices for CrayonSmile apps on Google Play, in particular Somi Kids World.

1. Information We Collect

CrayonSmile apps do not directly collect personal information such as name, email address, phone number, location, contacts, payment information, or advertising identifiers.

Somi Kids World may request microphone permission only when a parent or guardian chooses to use the family narration recording feature. Audio recordings are stored locally on the user's device and are not transmitted to CrayonSmile servers.

2. How We Use Information

The app may use locally stored data to provide the children's learning and family play experience. For example, a guardian's recorded voice may be used within the app for storybook narration or family learning.

3. Third-Party Sharing

CrayonSmile does not sell or share personal information directly collected through the app with third parties. The app does not include advertising SDKs, analytics SDKs, or remote tracking services.

When you install or run the app via Google Play, Google may process platform operating data such as install statistics, device information, and crash reports in accordance with Google's own privacy policies.

If paid content packs are offered, purchases are processed through the Google Play billing system. CrayonSmile does not directly collect or store payment card numbers or credentials.

4. Data Retention and Deletion

Locally generated data is stored on the user's device. Users can delete local data by using the app's delete features, resetting settings, or uninstalling the app.

CrayonSmile does not operate a server-side user account system or a remote personal data database.

5. Children's Privacy

CrayonSmile apps are designed for children and families, so we avoid collecting unnecessary personal information. Children are not required to enter personal information or transmit data externally. Family narration recording and content purchase management are provided in parent/guardian-facing flows.
